Side Bets (Player Pair and Banker Pair)
Popular side bets in online Baccarat include the “Player Pair” and “Banker Pair” options. This side bet consists of wagering if the first two cards dealt either to the Player or the Banker (depending on which of the two side bets you choose) will be a pair, such as 5-5 or K-K. The side bet loses on all other outcomes that do not result in the first two cards being a pair. The game proceeds as a normal round of Baccarat, and as such players may make traditional wagers as well as the side bet, or even forgo the traditional wagers and only make the side bet. This side bet has a pay rate of 12 to 1.Card Values
- Aces count as one (1)
- 2 through 9 count as face value
